        Kendriya Vidyalaya, Paradeep Port observed Grand Parents’ Day in a dazzling way. On this festive occasion the hon'ble Principal Mr. Prakash Chandra Ratha inaugurated the event. He highlighted the role of Grand Parents’ in our joint family system and  regretted about the changing attitude of the present generation who neglect their grand parents. Joint family system will impart love and affection to the younger generation. Headmistress Mrs. Pramila Kumari Nanda presided over the meeting. She stressed on the significant role of the grand parents in the home. We can’t ignore their role at any cost, she observed.

The Meeting was followed by various cultural programmes. Grand Parents were invited to present their views and they were also felicitated in the traditional way. At last the senior-most teacher Mr. H.K.Mishra gave a vote of thanks. The day ended in a happy note.
